Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 02 November 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses, training modules, live signal management workshops, content distribution sessions, camera operation programmes and related professional media services offered through entertyna. It governs transactions for both one-time digital course access and ongoing professional development subscriptions focused on creating reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. The policy covers services delivered online to customers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed, when contracts are concluded and under what circumstances refunds may be issued. It does not extend to third-party equipment purchases or external broadcasting rights that may be arranged separately.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Any Additional Charges
All listed prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate is included in the displayed price for consumers. Where a course bundle includes live practical sessions, an additional administrative fee may apply and will be clearly indicated before checkout. No hidden charges are added after the order is placed. Currency conversion fees charged by the customer’s card issuer remain the customer’s responsibility and are not reimbursed by entertyna.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation and Payment Security
Payments may be made by major credit and debit cards, bank transfer or approved digital wallets. All card transactions are authorised in real time and funds are reserved until the order is confirmed. entertyna uses secure payment processors that comply with PCI DSS standards. Card details are never stored on our servers. If authorisation fails, the order will not proceed and the customer will be notified immediately.
Order, Booking or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
A contract is formed when the customer receives an order confirmation email containing a unique reference number. This email constitutes acceptance of the offer. For live workshops, a place is reserved only after full payment clears. Digital course materials become accessible once the confirmation email is sent, subject to the customer accepting the terms at checkout.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of the confirmation email during which they may cancel without giving a reason. The cooling-off period does not apply once digital content has been downloaded or streamed, or once a live session has begun. Customers must notify entertyna in writing within the 14-day window to exercise this right.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available for unused digital courses if cancellation occurs within the 14-day period and no substantial content has been accessed. Live workshop fees are non-refundable once the session has started. Promotional or discounted bundles, gift vouchers and customised training packages are excluded from refund. Refunds will not be granted for change of mind after content has been substantially consumed or after the cooling-off period has expired.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, the customer must email info@gravitymedia.com with the subject line “Refund Request” and include the order reference number, full name, contact telephone number and a brief explanation. Requests may also be posted to 32-34 Greenhill Crescent, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 8JU, United Kingdom. Incomplete requests will be returned for additional information. All refund requests must be submitted from the email address used at purchase.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of the Refund Decision
Refund requests are reviewed within ten working days. entertyna will examine access logs to confirm whether content was downloaded or streamed. Customers receive written notification of approval or rejection, including reasons for any refusal. If approved, a refund confirmation email is sent containing the expected processing timeline.
Refund Method, Processing Time and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days, though some issuers may take longer. Bank transfers are processed within seven working days. entertyna is not responsible for delays caused by the customer’s bank or payment provider.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services or Promotional Offers
Once a digital course file is downloaded or a subscription period begins, the right to cancel is lost. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but no partial refunds are issued for the current billing cycle. Promotional offers are subject to the same 14-day rule, but access to discounted content immediately waives the cooling-off period under UK law.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments must be resolved within seven days or the reservation will be released. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically upon detection. Chargebacks are treated as a last resort; customers are encouraged to contact info@gravitymedia.com first. Suspected fraudulent activity will result in immediate account suspension and referral to relevant authorities in line with UK fraud prevention requirements.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom That the Policy Cannot Exclude
Nothing in this policy affects the customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. These rights include remedies for faulty digital content, the right to a refund where services are not provided with reasonable care and skill, and protection against misleading practices. Any term that attempts to exclude these rights is void.
Contact Route, Policy Changes and Last-Updated Date
Questions about this policy should be directed to info@gravitymedia.com or by post to 32-34 Greenhill Crescent, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 8JU, United Kingdom. entertyna may update this policy to reflect changes in law or business practice. The current version date appears at the top of the page. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
